FRIENDS OF THE MALDEN RIVER CELEBRATION MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023, 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Celebrate a decade-plus of advocacy for the Malden River at River’s Edge in the Great Lawn Room, 200 River’s Edge Drive. Friends and family are welcome to attend and learn of the progress and share ideas. Light refreshments. Guest speaker is Julie Wormser, Senior Policy Advisor and Co-founder of the Resilient Mystic Collaborative, a voluntary partnership among 20 cities and towns within the Mystic River Watershed working together to protect people and places from extreme weather.
